so's i'm working on a chapter draft for my next assignment and, in writing about jackie's nervous breakdown after the murder of jfk, i've run into a cul de sac of "fell apart"s and "came undone"s and "black hole"s. does anybody have suggestions (aside from
the year of magical thinking) for books dealing with grief/trauma/death/depression/mental collapse that have REALLY REALLY REALLY good prose?
