6 all of my friends
there are questions that should be simple, and then there is this- a simple question outrageously complicated by the fact that i don't call any of my friends by their actual names.

yes, after ten attempts i was spared the agony of having to remember my best friend's first name.

i'm tempted to say that partner shoulders some of the blame for this. that had we not been so squeamish about calling one another by our real names, the nicknamery might not have spiraled so out of control. but then, this is probably mostly me.
