sorry to stumble over here and sweat all over your commentboard but... oh man... can't even remember what i was going to say. fried synapses and all. humidity. sapping. will. to. live.*expires for what might be the 5th time in your comments section*
i think i now fully understand the purpose of the fainting couch. why o why hasn't anyone thought to install them on the el platforms? freaking sun.
I agree completely with the tag. If I have to suffer through the winter here (and its brother Autumn and sister Spring), then summer should be 3 months of 72 degrees and partly cloudly. If I wanted to sweat this much, I'd have stayed in the South.
gendered season, eh? I'd say Spring and Fall are the girls and summer and winter are the boys. But thats just me.
really? i'd say fall and winter are boys and spring and summer are the girls. y'know- the hot ones.
spring is all flowery and shit. definitely a chick.summer is sweaty and angry and in need of a bath. certainly a dude.Fall is the prettiest and all harvesty. I argue: a lady.Winter is brutal and unforgiving and cold to your pleas of mercy. just like my old man. i kid. but still a dude.
Dougo nails the first one. Spring is flowery, promises warmth but is kind of cold, and it's raining (crying) all the time. Lady.Dougo also nails the second one. Summer is loud, sweaty, and filled with beer and meat. Dude.Autumn is also a dude because autumn involves opening lots of jars of cranberry sauce and only men can open jars.Winter has no gender. It just sucks.
what is with the masculine conspiracy? we women only warrant a piddly one weepy season? yeah, no.and is it just me or was dougo doing a lot of nailing there?
nailed it!(nailed it)
what was that?! did you nail it so hard there was a slight echo?
in my mind I was playing a big blowhard, like a character from the Office or something whose catch-lines are purposefully and proudly dated. So the first time I said nailed it was with exuberance but then when everyone looked at me like i was a big dork i mumbled it again under my breath, as much to reassure myself than anyone else.
so i guess i'm the busybody that undermines you at every turn?
Indeed. And while striped-shirt-and-visor-wearing Austin has had his say, regular Austin (the urbane sipper of lattes and voter for Democrats and rider of public transportations) agrees with Dougo the first time. Autumn is most definitely a woman. Beautiful, smells nice.Nailed it.
