First, I am a rube and had to google that name. Second, I am a rube and think they are both lovely.
I am going to guess the smaller one with the stripes. Only because it is a more simple sewing job.
you are not a rube lindear darling. you just didn't read vogue obsessively in 1995. and as it turns out, sewing- like driving- is an area of expertise where i am vastly hindered by my propensity for speed.
Speaking of driving..Did you ever get your IL D.L.?
um... no. but i have many many highly valid excuses for that.
Caro--don't go too fast. That is how you sew your thumb. Mom called me in one day because the needle was stuck in her thumb and she's been sewing for over 50 years. I've been sewing for around 15 and I still won't go too fast. BTW--did I win a cookie for guessing right?
yeah, there was quite a gasp of wonder when we were told sewing wasn't about speed. yes, you won a cookie. come see me. i will buy you one. maybe the HUGE ass peanut butter ones at marshall fields that croftie and i covet...
I've got dates nailed down. He leaves for India 8 July and leaves India and goes to a different country around 14 August at which point I can join him. So, I'm thinking of coming up the last weekend in July and we'll do the W with a spa weekend. Sound good?
yes, please. come to town and spoil me.
LOL. And that is why you have friends like me!
to keep me in the lap of luxury.
Hey, you know my idea of roughing it is a Holiday Inn. LOL. Girls need to be pampered sometimes--you especially!
Oh the cookie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I think your pillow is delightful. I couldn't tell which one was which...but I'm also the one who covets cookies at Macy's...
now i REALLY want that cookie.
You did it!I think it's the smaller one in front. I do not know why. Both are lovely specimens.
