The true sign to worry is when you have 4 12-packs in your fridge and another 4 under the bed. Although, I must say that I'm proud of myself. I'm averaging 2-3 cans a day unless it's the weekend and then it jumps up. Oh well. Carolina, it could be worse. We both have our Chapstick/Bonne Bell addictions. Ever made an emergency stop at a store when you realized that you went to work without your Bonne Bell?
many a time. have also traveled to boston with seven cans of diet coke in my carry-on- as though massachusetts were an uncaffinated kingdom. but better to look a fool than to regret.
pericles had "the talk" with me a few nights ago. i was sucking down an enormous fountain soda while reading in bed and he said "leslie, you know i'd never try to tell you what to do. but i'm really worried something will happen to you because of all the soda you drink." then came the cancer and diabetes talk. oh man.
caffeine also eats your bones apparently. thus- despite my mammoth milk consumption- the mumcake's favourite admonishment is: "remember: you're building your bones of tomorrow today."

Caro, do you remember me trying to pack the Coke in my suitcase going up to your place? *Laughs*
I've gotten the "Do you know what you're doing to your kidneys and stomach?" talk many times.

Caffeine is my drug of choice and I love it and I have no intention of cutting back.
mayhaps we should all binge in honor of awareness month. just to show how aware we are.
